Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Manager? Do you enjoy building a team and implementing processes?
I am keen to speak to Accounts Payable Managers, North of Birmingham City Centre, to join a client of mine on a permanent basis.
The business are undergoing significant change and are looking for someone who enjoysrolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in.
The experienced Accounts Payable Manager will lead a team of 6 Accounts Payable Clerks with the support of a Supervisor.

Accounts Payable Manager duties:
- Manage and oversee the workload to ensure strategic objectives are met
- Lead 121s, objective setting, team engagement and prompt resolution of performance
- Ensure adequate cross team training/ cover as well as succession planning
- Create an engaged, happy team by being an effective leader
- Build policies for communication with suppliers, supporting with in building IT process improvements
- Build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Liaise with auditors, provide assistance and walk through of process
- Ensure team risks are raised, mitigated and resolved appropriately
Accounts Payable Manager Experience:
- Previous management experience, leading large complex teams
- Great customer service ethos
- Understand the full Procure to Pay process
