Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Manager? Do you enjoy building a team and implementing processes?

I am keen to speak to Accounts Payable Managers, North of Birmingham City Centre, to join a client of mine on a permanent basis.

Salary circa £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

The business are undergoing significant change and are looking for someone who enjoysrolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in.

The experienced Accounts Payable Manager will lead a team of 6 Accounts Payable Clerks with the support of a Supervisor.

You will enjoy leading, motivating and coaching team members, alongside implementing and streamlining processes etc. This is an excitingtime to join the business, where you will see value add from early on.

Accounts Payable Manager duties:

Manage and oversee the workload to ensure strategic objectives are met
Lead 121s, objective setting, team engagement and prompt resolution of performance
Ensure adequate cross team training/ cover as well as succession planning
Create an engaged, happy team by being an effective leader
Build policies for communication with suppliers, supporting with in building IT process improvements
Build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
Liaise with auditors, provide assistance and walk through of process
Ensure team risks are raised, mitigated and resolved appropriately

Accounts Payable Manager Experience:
