Looking for a temporary Payroll Administrator role?:


  • Our client is looking for an experienced administrator to manage their payroll for the month of March;they are comprised of a restaurant, bakery, and shop, you'll be organising payroll for ~120 staff.
  • This is
    _an officebased, fulltime position _with
    _5 days in the office at Westbourne Park_:

  • Earning between £13-17ph, a pro-rated equivalent of ~£30,500 per annum.

What are the key responsibilities for this role?

  • Process company's payroll every pay period
  • Maintain payroll processing system (Sage Payroll) and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Compute employee takehome pay based on contracts, time records, benefits, and taxes
  • Answer staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
  • Receive and coordinate requests for leave and other absences
  • Handle changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles
  • Adhere to payroll policies and procedures and comply with relevant law
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
  • Honour confidentiality of employees' pay records
  • Complete payroll reports for recordkeeping purposes or managerial review
  • Determine organisation's tax obligations by calculating PAYE as well as National Insurance contributions
  • Perform the distribution of wages by direct transfers to employees' bank account
