Teaching Assistant | Primary School | Hackney | 1:1 SEN Role | Immediate Start

Immediate start for a SEN Teaching Assistant at a primary school in Hackney to start as soon as possible.

The role will involve working 1:1 with a child in KS1 with autism and speech and language delay.

Long Term role to start immediately in a primary school in Hackney
Support a child in Year 2 on the autistic spectrum and speech delay
Benefit from guidance from a supportive teacher and Speech and Language Therapist
Gentle and nurturing approach required

This is a nice role for an experienced TA who is confident giving 1:1 support to progress learning. The child is well behaved but needs a lot of direction to engage with the lesson.

Applicants should have previous experience working with autistic children and be able to deliver support without direction from the teacher.
