Job Role/Purpose:


The post holder will be responsible for providing assistance to the HR Consultant and HR Officer to ensure that the smooth and efficient running of the HR Services and functions are developed and maintained.


  • To provide efficient and accurate administrative support across all areas of the HR function
  • Assist the HR Officer & Consultant as required ensuring high levels of accuracy and confidentiality at all times
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of administrative systems to ensure consistency across all surgeries as required
  • Support the Human Resources Consultant with generalist HR and day to day operational HR duties for the organisation
  • To provide support across the employee life cycle and ensure the HR department is providing an excellent service to the organisation 2. Main

Responsibilities:


  • To coordinate and administer the recruitment process as agreed with the HR Consultant ensuring all stages of the selection and recruitment process are completed in an effective and efficient manner, including creating/updating of job descriptions, interview questions and job advertisements.
  • Ensure all new starter paperwork, (including registrars, FY1/2's and work placements) together with all the required on boarding checks are completed efficiently and effectively prior to start date
  • Undertaking the HR induction process for all new starters and trainees/registrars as required, ensuring all HR paperwork is completed, and payroll documentation is completed as required.
  • To take responsibility for the maintenance of the centralised personnel filing systems ensuring personnel files meet CQC and legislative standards.
  • Monitor and produce accurate management information as requested developing and maintaining various trackers and analysing results / providing report as requested.
  • To assist with the recording of meetings minutes as and when requiredAssist the HR Consultant as required to ensure relevant MMP policies are updated
  • To be involved in ad hoc projects as and when required
  • To provide an effective; efficient and accurate HR administrative service across all areas including payroll and maternity/paternity
  • To organise work experience placements as required, ensuring relevant paperwork is completed.
  • To create and maintain annual leave trackers, ensuring high level of accuracy.
  • To provide information to Senior Governance Officer as required relating to chaperones/training in preparation for meetings relating to site health checks/compliance
  • Updating Bluestream training platform with new starters/leavers, updating of modules/staff profiles as required, ensuring that MMP mandatory training requirements are met.
  • Providing a high level administration support to the HR department.
  • Assisting the HR Officer with employee relations cases as required.
  • Assist the HR Consultant in the implementation and maintenance of any agreed changes to current practice
  • To undertake any other duties as requested commensurate with the role
  • Build relationships across the organisation with all level of staff

  • Whilst in post, Staff are expected to acquire and update their knowledge on safeguarding as per the Intercollegiate document requirements and MMP policies.
General

  • To undertake any other duties commensurate with the role, within the bounds of his/her own competence as defined in the attached Person Specification.
  • The role is office based at Eaton Wood however flexibility is required as the post holder may be required to work at various MMP sites on some occasions.
  • In light of national policy and due to the operational needs of the business it may be necessary for the Partnership to alter the opening hours of the surgeries. This could incorporate different opening hours and weekend working which may effect when you are required to work. The post holder is expected to be flexible and accommodating, following consultation, in terms of any changes to operating times in the future
