***: We are recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Salford. They will be responsible for directing, coordinating and completing repairs, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, equipment and building systems. This role manages the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems by performing the following duties personally or using an existing source of external suppliers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reviews work to determine work priorities.
Schedules repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
Directs maintenance activities of utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, electrical power, gas, or air required for operations.
Develops preventative maintenance program in conjunction with production staff.
Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimise operating costs.
Manages requisition of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies for operations.
General Maintenance of building services, Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Basic Plumbing, Basic Joinery, Decoration and Grounds.
Key holder.
Management of subcontractors.
Health and safety.
Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

HNC Multi Skilled Maintenance engineer, electrically Bias.
18th Edition BS767 3+ years in maintenance role.
Iosh
Pasma
Ipaf
Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organisation, as well as internal and external clients
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fastpaced and deadlineoriented environment.
Ability to work with and influence peers and management.

Desired:

FLT License
Asbestos awareness
Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch
