Etex are seeking an Intercompany Planner to join the Exteriors team

Location:
Burton on Trent


12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Competitive Salary Depending on Experience

What you'll do:

The Intercompany Planner will play a key role in the Supply Chain, primarily in the replenishment requirements of the business, managing the availability of all inter-company products, placing purchasing orders and actively progressing deliveries to ensure supply is in line with service level agreements and our customer expectations


Key Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:

  • Acting as a primary contact for all Supply Chain related intercompany matters with our intercompany partners, UK plants and internal colleagues
  • Providing daily cover or support for the logístical requirements of Supply Chain, working closely with the Transport & Supply Coordinator
  • Using procedures developed within SAP for the procurement and stock replenishment of materials
  • Ensuring that schedules are compiled, and purchase orders are issued against intercompany partners for all product areas
  • Checking daily expectation reports to ensure all products are maintained above safety levels
  • Making recommendations for cleaning obsolete and slowmoving product through provision or write off
  • Categorising all stock, ensuring stock levels and reorder levels are maintained
  • Monitoring orders for intercompany products to ensure direct deliveries from source wherever possible
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent customer/supplier relationships
  • Coordinating all communication received between Customer Services and Sales
  • Producing Supply Chain reports in line with the business requirements
  • Continuously seek to add value, improve efficiency, and reduce wastage adopting lean principles wherever appropriate
  • Any other duties that are within the capability of the job holder that may be required from time to time

What you'll bring

  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Grade C or above or Equivalent
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software
  • Strong understanding of CRM/SAP systems
  • Experience in a replenishment role
  • The ability to think analytically and creatively
  • Good problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisation skills, with the ability to manage time effectively

_It would be an advantage, but is not essential, if you also have:_

  • Experience in a Transport Planning role
