- Tailor lessons to meet the unique learning needs of SEND students, utilising a variety of teaching methods and resources.
- Collaborate with SENCOs, Teaching Assistants, and external experts to develop personalised education plans for SEND students, ensuring their holistic development.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, supported, and prepared for success.
- Monitor student progress using assessment data and adjust teaching strategies to promote growth.
- Promote positive behaviour management and provide pastoral care, cultivating a culture of empathy and well-being.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with previous experience in SEND education, preferably in a similar setting.
- In-depth understanding of various SEND conditions, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Exceptional communication skills to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
