- Greeting clients and providing a first point of contact to all enquires, including Home Report and property information requests
- Building positive relationships with clients through regular phone and email contact
- Arranging viewings into the Viewing Agents diary
- Understand regulatory compliance requirements and assist the sales team in ensuring these are met including Anti Money Laundering, Data Protection and CPR/ BPR
- Assisting with property marketing activities and invoicing
- Contributing content for the social media profile of the branch using relevant platforms
- Ensuring accuracy of data input into our property database
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Proficient in the use of IT systems including MS Teams, Word, Excel & Outlook
- Knowledge, and experience, of the residential sales processes within the Scottish market (desirable)
- Prior experience of Reapit or a comparable database product (desirable)

About the role
Due to continued growth, we have a great opportunity for a Sales & Compliance Assistant to join our successful St Andrews branch in this newly created role. It's an exciting time to join the team and be part of our ongoing growth ambitions.
Rettie are leading, independent property specialists in Scotland and the North of England. The reputation of the Rettie brand has been built on the back of our successful track record of unrivalled market knowledge and exceptional customer service.
As the Sales and Compliance Assistant, you'll provide full administrative support for the branch, throughout the whole sales journey, from the point of instruction to the sale of a property. This will include booking photographs, creating brochures, social media updates and supporting the sales team to complete all regulatory compliance checks for all home buyers and sellers.
About you
This is an ideal role for someone with experience in administration who can navigate their way around systems and databases with ease. You'll be process-driven, and also show confidence in interacting with clients in person, over the phone and via email.
As well as being customer-focused, you'll demonstrate strong skills in collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and planning & organising. Bringing a positive mindset to everything you do; you'll strive to go above and beyond and be self-motivated to deliver great service to colleagues, buyers and sellers.
