Plant Service and Operations Co-Ordinator to join one of the UK's leading ground works and civil engineering companies based in
Bristol.

Key responsibilities:
- Plan, direct and coordinate and schedule fitters' daily schedules
- Responding to site calls in a timely manner for all site vehicle/plant breakdowns, punctures and hose failures, with little impact to site performance, down time and productivity
- Liaising with site foremen and Contracts Managers to arrange machine servicing at convenient times whilst maintaining manufacturer guidelines for maintenance
- Ordering replacement parts, service kits, consumables and oils for the workshop to keep the fleet maintained and fit for purpose
- Ordering replacement parts, service kits, consumables and oils for the field service engineers to keep the fleet maintained and fit for use.
- Maintaining direct communication with the hire desk to ensure they are kept updated of plant down times
- Liaise with manufacturers to ensure plant is repaired under warranty where possible
- Review all paperwork regarding repairs and damages so that and charging damages are correctly made to the relevant sites a sites
- Ensure all plant is site safe and has 6monthly/12monthly safety inspections completed at the correct time under Loler and Puwer regulations
- Assist with the transport planning across other areas as and when required
- Process and organise cart away from sites, whilst ensuring the programmes of sites are met in the most costeffective way possible
- Procurement of small plant items, tools and consumable, keeping in mind cost implications and budgetary constraints
- Ordering and monitoring of site fuel
- Booking external transport and haulage when and where required
- Participate in meetings as and when required, suggesting better ways to improve on the overall day to day running of the plant operation and team performance
- Support in the continued development and implementation of the overall plant strategy and goals
- Continue to Identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods and overall efficiencies
Essential qualifications:
- CSCS Card
- Full, clean drivers licence
Desirable skills/qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in plant maintenance and repair
- Demonstrated experience of managing and maintaining a fleet of construction plant equipment and machinery
