An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dietitian to join our team in Barnet.

Working closely with the rehabilitation lead dietitian, you will provide clinical nutrition and dietetic services for inpatients at Finchley Memorial Hospital.


All applicants must have:

  • Experience in managing patients requiring oral nutritional support
  • Experience in enteral feeding
  • Excellent communication skills to provide 1:1 and group training
  • Ability to manage and prioritize caseload
CLCH will consider developmental Band 5 & Band 6 current NHS staff.


This post is based at Finchley Memorial Hospital covering two wards, allowing for a range of experience to be gained in the rehabilitation setting.


The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Covering 34 general rehabilitation beds at Finchley Memorial Hospital and 17 step down beds on Adams ward; mainly comprising of oral nutritional support patients with occasional enteral feeding.


You will have the opportunity to develop your skills as a specialist dietician through training and supervision from a band 7 dietitian.

  • To work autonomously to provide a high standard of dietetic service to general inpatient rehabilitation clients, and their carers in order to meet the needs of the multicultural and diverse population at Finchley Memorials rehabilitation wards
  • To be actively involved in identifying service needs and implementing strategies to improve the service with support from the Stroke Rehabilitation Dietitian.
  • To work as part of a MDT to provide holistic specialist dietetic advice by actively taking part in MDTs, board rounds and key working.
