What you will be doing


As an Information Management Higher Apprentice you will work alongside highly skilled personnel who provide information technology and data solutions to the Shared Services business.


Supporting the delivery and management of critical information, whether digital or otherwise, in the delivery phase of an infrastructure project and the ongoing management of that information within the operational phase of the resulting asset.


Through on the job learning and higher education you will develop a range of skills and competencies both technical and non-technical and will learn how EIT (our IT function) supports the business.


The Information Manager Apprenticeship is delivered by Yorkshire Training Partnership which is held at BAES with a mixture of day release and online delivery.


What Qualification will you get?
By the end of the apprenticeship you will obtain: A level 4 Information Manager apprenticeship

5 GCSEs A*-C or 4-9 (or equivalent) including Maths and English & 96 UCAS Tariff Points (240 point old system), or equivalent (excluding UCAS points gained at AS level)
