An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Radiology Administrator role to join our busy Administrative and Clerical team in the Radiology Department at NUH.

We will require an enthusiastic and conscientious team player with excellent communication skills who will need to be well motivated and reliable.

It will be essential that the post holder can demonstrate excellent communication skills and be an organised individual, as well as work on their own initiative.

You will also need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues and respond to queries in a professional manner.

Good customer care is essential in this role.

You must be educated to GCSE level, with grade C or above in English and Maths. Computer skills are essential in this role and experience in using Microsoft Word and Outlook is necessary. Knowledge of our hospital computer systems such as Medway, DHR Unity and CRIS systems is desirable.

Liaising with colleagues and clinical staff to amend diaries

Training & Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of hospital computer systems, i.e. Medway PAS, CRIS, NOTIS
Experience

  • Experience of working in reception environment
  • Experience of customer services/dealing with the public
  • F2F or telephone
Desirable criteria

  • Previous Call Centre / Booking office experience
  • Previous experience of working in the NHS in a patient facing role

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
