Robertson Bell are excited to be supporting a fast-growing property business, still relatively young in its existence, to recruit an interim IFRS 16 Specialist on an initial 6-month contract.


The key focus of this role is to ensure that IFRS 16 is fully embedded across the organisation, in operational areas as well as finance, following its implementation last year.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and rolling out a robust control framework to support the business and protect it against the financial impacts of IFRS 1
  • Working with the finance business partnering team to aid decisionsupport and implement a forecasting process encompassing finances effected by IFRS 1
  • Previous experience implementing IFRS 16, ideally within the property sector.
  • Strong technical IFRS 16 knowledge and excellent business partnering skills.
  • A thorough understanding of financial controls and risk mitigation.


You will need to be able to travel to London or Birmingham once per week, and available to start a new contract no later than the end of February.
