- Work under the direction of the Supervisor
- Use correct measuring tools for the task in hand, including scale meter, tape, gauges and templates
- Operate at least one of the following machines: Forge Press, Press, Glued Joints, FBW or Assembly
- Use of small tools i.e. drills, grinders etc. as and when required
- Train other members of the team as and when required
- Awareness of Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality regulations
- Previous experience working in a production or engineering environment
- Ability to read and work to engineering drawings and route cards
- Ability to use small tools and measuring tools
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure to deadlines and targets
- Team player

- Ability to work a rotating shift pattern
- Previous experience of forging
- Previous experience of hot works
