Ty Gobaith (Hope House) Lifehouse are looking for an Administrative Assistant

  • Reception for 20 hours per week as part of a job share position. The role will be working on a rota which is attached with this advert.

Key Responsibilities:


This role is primarily front of house, based in reception; you will be the first point of contact for all residents and visitors to the centre either via phone calls or in person.

Additional duties of this role will include but not limited to filing, secretarial duties, data inputting and ordering stocks and supplies as required.


  • Experience of working successfully in a busy work environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to perform administration tasks including answering telephone calls, data entry, typing and filing.
  • Demonstrate ability to plan, organise and prioritise your tasks to effectively meet your objectives to the expected quality standards and time scales with regular supervision.
  • Good standard of literacy in English and Numeracy at the level required to fulfil your duties.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), outlook and Teams to perform your work duties.
  • The ability and willingness to work within, be empathetic with and promote the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army Mission.
