Safran Helicopter Engines UK Ltd are being supported by PETA Ltd to recruit and train an enthusiastic HR Business Apprentice to join their HR team.

This is a full-time apprenticeship role working Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00 on a 15-month contract.

Training to be provided:

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15 month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported throughout your programme with visits every 6 weeks from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.


Upon completion of the Apprenticeship, there is the potential for you to progress on to higher level Apprenticeships within the company.


Your new role:

As a HR Business Apprentice with Safran, you will be working within an engineering/manufacturing organisation. You will support the HR team to provide a full generalist HR service.


You will learn how to:

  • Provide HR support to managers, employees and rest of the HR team
  • Ensure the efficiency of the HR processes and practices

As this is an apprenticeship role, no experience is required However, our ideal HR Business Apprentice will require great communication skills, resilience and a keen eye for detail.

To be considered for the role, you will also need:


  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems including word, excel and outlook
  • A proactive approach to work
  • Please note GCSEs in Maths and English with at least a grade C / 4 are required.
