We have a vacancy for a Security Controller based at one of our client sites based in the City of London.

The site will be home to a variety of clients, so customer service is key.

As a Security Controller, you will be working in a corporate environment, where you will be responsible for delivering the command-and-control function using control room systems, processes and procedures at the site-based control room.

You will need to consistently demonstrate a proactive approach to command and control and have elevated attention to detail, site and systems knowledge and have a "heads up" approach, which detects and identifies threat and risk in a proactive manner.

You will be a relationship builder, excellent communicator, and coordinator and be required to think on your feet and make quick and sensible decisions.

A typical day in the life as a Security Controller:

Manage control room-based keys and assets such as radios and equipment with EDOB.
Manage and ensure all lone workers are monitored and managed thoroughly throughout their shift
Produce daily security reports as directed, always keep notes and relay messages clearly.
Control interface between Property Management and retailers and contractors
Produce daily/weekly reports as required relating to the activities of your area of responsibility
Maintain the flow of information to the EDOB accurately recording all incidents and distributing it as required
Be prepared to deploy to support at any control room at any time if required

SIA DS Licence
SIA CCTV Licence
Demonstrable and proven experience of working in a control room environment
Experience with security surveillance and access control systems
High level of attention to detail, timekeeping, and ability to prioritise time effectively
Strong IT (Information Technology) Skills (Microsoft, Excel, Office 365, PowerPoint) with ability to use data to create reports and statistics
