    About the role What will you be doing?

    We are a busy HR Advisory Team working across various services within West Northants Council, including Housing, Highways, Waste Services, Planning, Regulatory Services and Museums and Libraries.

    There will be some HR Advisory case work, however the main focus of this Fixed Term Assignment is to support a number of restructures across Housing and Place Shaping where you will be required to provide advice and guidance to managers through the process but also doing some of the more basic tasks of setting up structures within our internal HR system and supporting processes to implement the services.

    This role will be offered on a fixed term contract from 1st July to the end of December 2024.

    About you

    You will be qualified to at least CIPD level 3 and have experience of working in a large organisation would be an advantage.

    Your experience will include having worked with a range of managers providing advice and guidance on HR policy and procedure. Ideally you will have supported organisational change initiatives or service restructures. While public sector experience would be useful experience in case management and service restructuring is key. Therefore being organised and willing to take the initiative with providing advice and generally being able to provide solutions and support to our client groups to enable them to provide services to our residents is essential.

    This is a flexible working role however with the support required to the management teams needed over the range of projects we expect the successful candidate to be in the office up to 3 days a week.
