My client, a rapidly growing FMCG based in Central London are recruiting an ambitious Commercial Analyst to join their Finance department and support the growth of the group.


This high profile role will report to the Finance Director, working in close relation with the FP&A managers and Finance controllers.

You will be business partnering with Marketing, Sales, demand planning, supply chain and you will be in charge of controllingnew product development costs and profitability as well as recurring marketing costs.


Key Duties

  • Modelling and preparation of: new product development profitability and ROI by brand/line of product
  • Provide analysis and insight on the Marketing budgets and forecasts before they are approved
  • Month end / Year end: review and control of the actual vs budget + accruals
  • Work in close relation with the accounting team to make sure costs are coded in the appropriate way
  • Finance Approval of Marketing related payments

Requirements:


  • Part-Qualified/Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • FMCG experience
  • Broad management and financial accounting knowledge
  • Strong excel skills
  • Commercial mindset
