    Description

    My client, a growing FMCG based in Central London, is looking for a proactive and flexible Management Accountant to join their Finance team and help drive the group's expansion.

    This role will report to the Finance Director and collaborate closely with the accounting assistants, maintaining a strong financial and commercial environment while enhancing business value.

    Key Duties:

    • Develop and nurture relationships with key clients to improve financial systems and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Manage general ledger and UK GAAP.
    • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and journals.
    • Handle intercompany reconciliations.
    • Assist in preparing month-end reports and budget processes.
    • Address Audit requests.
    • Support Inventory reconciliation.
    • Review and process payments.
    • Ensure timely customer invoicing and follow-up on cash collection.
    • Validate A/P invoices in the system.
    • Oversee payment approvals.
    • Manage raised POs and fixed assets.
    • Handle fixed asset management tasks.
    • Support FP&A manager with ad hoc reporting.

    Requirements:

    • Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or Finalist.
    • Advanced excel skills.
    • Commercial awareness.
