- Experience of working with the public in a busy customer facing service orientated environment

37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
This post is to provide efficient and effective facilities support to the site including ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards.
The post holder will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties and ensure that instructions specified by management are adhered to.
The post holder will be responsible for checking and securing the premises subsequent to out of hours intruder alarm activation and to carry out a variety of duties associated with the security, safety, general support services and general housekeeping of the buildings as instructed by the Facilities team leader. This is to include portering/manual handling, attending the loading bay for deliveries, general duties, toilet consumables replenishment and waste management.
The post holder will also assist at Mayoral events/Council functions and events in support of the Facilities team leader as and when required.
