Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

To provide a good customer service, selling products, meeting customer needs and increasing turnover for the company. To sell SRC goods & services. Build relationships with external existing customers & approach potential new customers with the aim of winning new business.


RELATIONSHIPS:

Sales Manager

Liaison with:
Directors, Managers, Clients, Employees, Suppliers


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Listening to customer requirements, creating and nurturing opportunities to make a sale.
  • Developing our nontrade revenue.
  • Working together with logistics staff to delivery customer satisfaction.
  • Market intelligence gathering
  • Communicating at all levels within client businesses.
  • Liaising with operational staff regarding deliveries and stock
  • To act in accordance with the company's Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and practices highlighting any issues appropriately
  • To perform directed as directed by Manager

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Personable and organised with strong communication skills
  • Experience in the construction industry or sales sector
  • Detail oriented
  • Computer and systems literate
  • Flexibility to undertake a wide variety of administration tasks
  • Detail oriented
  • Capable of working effectively under your own initiative when required
