The Opportunity


The Solutions Consultant is responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to our sales team and clients, ensuring the successful implementation of network solutions across our core product set.

Your primary focus will be on pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposal development, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.

As Solutions Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving customer satisfaction and business growth through effective solution selling and excellent relationships.


Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, business objectives, and challenges, and translate them into tailored network solutions.
  • Design innovative and costeffective network solutions using our core products and technologies, aligning them with customer needs and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers, showcasing the value and Blocks differentiation.
  • Conduct detailed technical assessments of customer environments, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive solution proposals, including network diagrams, bill of materials, pricing, and implementation plans, in collaboration with the sales and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, project managers, and service delivery teams, to ensure smooth project handoff and successful implementation of Blocks solutions.
  • Support the sales and bid team in responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and technical inquiries, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, channel partners, and vendor representatives, to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Indepth knowledge and expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and network management tools.
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCDP are highly preferred.
  • A knowledge of other networking and security technologies is desired such as Juniper, Palo Alto and Logic Monitor.
  • Proven experience in presales activities, solution design, and technical consulting, preferably within a partner or vendor environment.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, standards, and modern architectures, such as SDAccess, ACI and SD-WAN.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in crossfunctional teams, including sales, engineering, and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a customercentric approach.
  • Selfmotivated, proactive, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
