What You'll Do:
nAs a Senior Software Engineer in the Data Platform team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable systems

Your responsibilities will include:

nDesign and implement scalable and reliable microservices on AWS infrastructure.nMentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.nCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for architectures, processes, and procedures.nProvide support during critical incidents and implement preventive measures.nMonitor and analyze AWS usage, providing recommendations for cost savings without compromising system performance and reliability.nCraft resilient, secure, and efficient code, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

What You'll Bring:

nDemonstratable ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, mentoring junior team members and contributing to a positive team culture.nDemonstratable expertise in Java development, with a strong command of Java 11 and above.nProven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems for data processing at scale within AWS.nIn-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with foundational AWS services, such as; ALB, ECS, S3, ElastiCache, IAM, CloudWatch.nDemonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining Kafka-based event-driven services.nProficiency in both relational and NoSQL databases, with an understanding of database design, optimization, and management.nStrong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.nHands-on experience with Jenkins and establishing robust CI/CD pipelines.
