    Head of Portfolio Management Office (PMO)

    Business Unit:
    We are seeking to appoint a Head of Portfolio Management the
    PMOin the Infrastructure Directorate.

    The PMO, that this position will lead, provides the framework, oversight and the necessary controls across 7 programmes with a total value in excess of £800m.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to help deliver critical transport infrastructure projects that are helping our region to grow, addressing some of our climate change problems, and improving our transport networks.

    We are delivering with our partners over £1bn of infrastructure projects in rail, walking, cycling, transport technology and bus services.

    Providing a management framework and centre of excellence covering a standardised, consistent approach for portfolio, programme and project delivery.
    Undertaking high level assurance/reviews at key project junctures on core project management data (i.e. Schedule, Risk / Issues Register).

    Supporting the development of Programme and Project management skills/competencies and support the Combined Authorities' aspiration for corporate membership of the APM competencies.
