Description

To give you an overview of what you may be doing in the secondary schools in Conwy.

You may be required to work with small groups of students, or on a one-to-one basis across a variety of ages, abilities and needs.

The roles may include assisting the classteacher and supporting pupils with different activities and lessons with a focus on improving attainment and behaviour.

Requirements:

Motivate and inspire to help pupils and give them the relevant support
Supervision of classes for absent teaching staff.
Working closely with pupils on a 121 basis as well as groups
Supporting pupils of all abilities to access the Secondary National Curriculum
Working with pupils who have additional SEND needs
Having a strong presence within the classroom is necessary
