Are you looking for an opportunity to _use your cell culture Lab experience_ within a commercial setting and deliver excellent technical support to our customers?

We are looking for an enthusiastic expert in cell biology interested in working in technical support to delight and exceed our customers expectation.

This is a hands-on role and as part of a technical team mainly based in UK (or home based) will manage a busy case inbox with enquiries from internal and external customers across Europe and Africa, plus liaising with Suppliers mainly in US and Europe.

In addition to daily customer facing activity, this role will also involve a number of administrative tasks including, but not limited to product data, quality, compliance, regulatory and occasionally operations.

Key result areas:

Front line helpdesk
Managing busy tech support case box ensuring that all customers are responded to within agreed service levels
Problemsolving customer cases in the biotech inbox by utilizing scientific knowledge and experience. This will also involve helping staff with cell biology queries
To authorise or decline product replacement requests for all customers in the territories defined above.
Be an internal SME and technical resource relating to product utility or specification or performance
To provide reports as necessary to support the monthly management reporting cycle.
Manage all customer interactions through the assigned CRM, currently Salesforce, and meeting associated KPI's around case response and resolution.
To assist with the management of product information on business systems across the group.
Liaise with colleagues at the ATCC in USA to, amongst other tasks, progress resolve complex case resolution.
Ensures that all engagements with customers and stakeholders are to highest possible standards at all times as required to represent the LGC and ATCC Premium Brands.

Qualifications

Higher academic qualification in life sciences discipline (preferred MSc and above)
Laboratory experience culturing mammalian cell lines plus other molecular biology techniques
Passion and curiosity for Life Sciences essential
Great communication skills, written and oral
Ability to troubleshoot cell biology problems or answer academic questions from customers
Good level of computer literacy and keyboard skill
Experience culturing mammalian cell lines, performing assays and researching scientific material
Previous customer facing role (not necessarily science related)
