As the Marketing Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting the wider marketing team to implement and execute the company's marketing strategy.
We are looking for a proactive person with strong organisational and administration skills, eye for detail, and a passion for a varied day-to-day role that will grow as much as you want it to.
You'll be responsible for lots of different marketing tactics - so is perfect for someone who really wants to get stuck into a generalist marketing role.
An enthusiastic attitude to learning and a desire to build a long-lasting career within marketing and communications is more important than lots of previous experience or qualifications.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting the marketing team and working across a range of channels to support our key marketing goals and campaigns
- Manage, coordinate, and keep up to date the digital asset management system
- Manage and develop the Materials Sign Off Process. Proof reading and editing external collateral produced by colleagues
- Help manage the marketing budget. Including raising POs, Invoices, Purchasing, PO Reconciliation
- Update content on our website and intranet, and external directories
- Events organisation and coordination including hosted events, exhibitions, and webinars
- Creating and scheduling social content across platforms. Monitoring and engaging with audiences
- Manage and coordinate printed items including collateral, promotional items, and event equipment
- Supporting the marketing department with multimedia content creation for internal and external use
- Support briefing and management of suppliers and external partners
- Assist with reporting, analytics, and performance reviews
Qualifications
What you'll need to succeed
- Some marketing experience is preferred. Ideally within a B2B services business
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to help deliver exceptional marketing
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills, systems, and platforms
- An ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks concurrently, working on large projects at the same time as fielding more tactical initiatives
- Self motivation and an ability to get things done
- A passion for building a career in marketing and communications
