Children's Advisor (Admin and Clerical)

Bradford

£11.50 Per hour

Main Role

The Role of the CA is to provide effective information, advice and access to services provided by the department of children's services to members of the public.

To accurately and expediently record all contacts and referrals ,both in writing and on the data base, following policies and procedures in relation to case recording, data protection and child protection.

As part of a multi -skilled team to work in conjunction with qualified social work staff on referrals and cases held by the team, and undertake tasks which contribute to assessment on behalf of children's division.

To ensure that information on the social services database is accurate and up to date, identifying errors and duplications where they arise, amending and updating information where appropriate and liaising with care support team.

Able to manage and prioritise own workload and assist in mating duty/contact boards.
