The Allianz UK Personal (Liverpool Victoria) branch is part of Allianz UK Holdings and provides services to the LV General Insurance business.

The LV Local Information Security Officer (LISO), reports directly to the Head of IT and Regional ISO. The LISO supervises and supports the determination and implementation of Information Security governance and its related guidelines.

The LISO oversees the implementation of IS related controls and provides respective control assurance for all services Allianz Technology provides to its internal customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce information security (including controls) to ensure compliance with the Allianz SE Group and Technology Information Security Frameworks
  • Perform risk assessments (internal processes, supplier management)
  • Advise Allianz Technology employees in all information security related matters
  • Manage and/or raise to Allianz Technology ISO central team, all issues pertaining to information security
  • Support of the annual compliance reporting process for their area of responsibility and ensuring timely delivery of results
  • Communicate applicable corporate rules relevant to information security in their area of responsibility
  • Coordinate information securityrelated activities of their area of responsibility and provide information as necessary to relevant control functions, in particular Risk, Data Privacy, Compliance and Internal Audit
  • Report risks and actions to Local Executive Body

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience/Competencies

  • Very good knowledge in Information Security Governance (min 5 years of experience in this field)
  • Experienced in conducting risk assessments
  • Experienced in process design and improvement, change management
  • Experienced in Security frameworks
  • Ability to communicate and explain the context of need for control, regulations etc. and the benefits of taking action

  • An understanding of the three lines of defense model and relationship of the InfoSec with other control functions
  • InfoSec certification (international / local) is a plus
  • Proven experience of using the COBIT control framework is a plus
