Description
Our Client in Blackburn is looking to recruit a Semi Skilled Labourer with wood work experience and who takes pride in the finished product for a Temp - Perm position

Are you a Semi Skilled Labourer? do you have experience of the woodwork industry?

Immediate starts available, training will be provided.


Duties will include;

  • Part of the role will be fitting the finished products to the metal frames.
  • You will be building bespoke benches, tables, seating areas etc
  • Operating Cross cut saws, 4 sided planers, Band resaws, 7 Cutter moulding machines (training provided)
  • Working with timber to create a variety of structures
  • Some heavy lifting
  • Handling bulky items
  • Measuring and cutting
  • Back off machines and stacking timer
  • Cleaning & maintaining a tidy works space
  • A willingness to learn how to set up and run machines, under supervision

Skills and Requirements;

  • Physically fit
  • Experience and knowledge of the woodwork industry is preferred
  • Good time keeping
  • Willingness to learn

Hours and Pay;
till 17:00

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 Hours per week
- £11.00ph starting depending on experience


Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
From £11.00 per hour
