The company is located in Kingston upon Thames and is renowned for delivering quality services to a wide range of clients.

The Senior Payroll Administrator (HYBRID) role involves
:Key Responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Manage portfolio of Payrolls (monthly fortnight and weekly)
  • Be able to processes payrolls from start to finish and provide support and advice to clients
  • Liaise with clients and third parties
  • Dealing with transfers of clients in and out of the business
  • Setting up and closing PAYE schemes
  • Resolving payroll issues and HMRC queries for clients
  • Work with the team to improve and develop the payroll department
  • To assist the team to make sure all work is completed
  • Pension admin management for clients
  • Ad hoc duties as required

  • Excellent payroll skills (manual calculations and in depth understanding)
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Flexible approach to working
  • Organised with strong time management skills
  • Common sense and a positive can do attitude
  • Team Player

The Successful Applicant:


  • Previous experience of managing multiple pay periods across several payrolls (idelaly from a Payroll Bureau or Accountancy practice background but not essential)
  • Proficiency in payroll software (ideally Xero / Brightpay /Surepay / STAR / IRIS)
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll tax legislation
