FP&A Transformation Manager


FTSE 100 FMCG are embarking on a major global Planning & Forecasting Transformation programme focusing on simplification, standardisation and automation of financial planning activities to support stronger end-to-end decision making.

This role will support the Supply Transformation Lead in implementing global FP&A processes and solutions for the manufacturing sites.

You will own specific parts of design and be responsible for identifying any requirements, dependencies, and communicatingthose clearly to the Leadership Team, Solution Design team or any other appropriate stakeholders to ensure effective roll-out of the programme globally.


Responsibilities:


  • Support implementing standardised future FP&A process and tool (SAC), including owning sections of the process
  • Support the functional delivery of the project, providing guidance and steer to the Solution Design team, the SI and the market teams on the design and implementation of new and improved processes and solution
  • Work with key stakeholders from specific markets to obtain input and guidance on the design and implementation
  • Support the development of a futurestate RACI within the FP&A local teams based on the new process design
  • Utilise high level of process proficiency and considerable experience to build capability within both the project and endstate teams, allowing for the smooth integration of any new processes into business as usual practice
  • Prepare and present updates to programme leadership on the workstream leads
  • Champion the P&F processes in relevant markets, working closely with the Change Management team to ensure new solution is adopted
  • Feed into and develop the detailed list of technical requirements as a result of the implementation of the new process
  • Design and prepare materials for key workshops throughout the solution build and implementation
  • Contribute to workstream updates, decisions, etc to senior leadership

Skills and experience required:


  • FP&A expert (understanding of finance processes specific for manufacturing is a plus)
  • Understanding of data and information flow and dependencies around planning & forecasting and wider FP&A and finance processes
  • Experience in driving and implementing process change and technology improvement initiatives globally
  • Experience with financial systems supported by SAP (SAP Turbo/Sunrise, Fusion, SAC)
  • Experience of working in a dynamic, high performing team, timepressured and results oriented environment, globally and with virtual teams
  • Excellent networking skills (across multiple functions, business units, external stakeholders) and positively resolve conflicts
  • Effective and impactful communication skills with an ability to articulate complex concepts in concise language
  • High degree of gravitas and experience working with stakeholders at all levels
  • High degree of change agility, ability to work in ambiguous environment
  • Selfdriven individual, passionate about process improvement
