- NVQ, ONC, HNC, HND, C&G or an appropriate apprenticeship.
- Some electrical experience/qualification or the willingness to undertake electrical cross skilling training.
- Good fault finding and problem-solving skills essential - mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical engineering drawings

Description
REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company.Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical or Electrically biased or Multi-skilled.
Responsible for the engineering maintenance activities within a medium to heavy manufacturing environment.
Providing a proactive service which contributes towards reducing downtime, improving plant performance and reliability using preventative and predictive maintenance methods and techniques.
You will be highly motivated, with a 'can do' attitude towards your work, as well as having a degree of flexibility to help meet business needs and market demands.
You will be a major exponent of Health and safety practices, with a strong focus towards work quality and plant standards.
Carry out both re-active and pro-active maintenance tasks, working across all departments. * You will be required and able to diagnose problems/plant faults constructively and accurately. * Take part in the development, creation and implementation of PPM schedules to achieve maximum machine availability. * Attend and contribute towards daily and weekly planned maintenance meetings/plant priority reviews. * Identify/specify and order engineering parts.
