We are proud to be working with a market leading manufacturer and supplier in the UK. Our client is dramatically increasing in size and is looking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant due to this expansion. Our client is an ambitious, innovative and highly successful business with plans to expand overseas in the very near future.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the role covers a variety of areas including purchase ledger including supplier payments, reconciliation work, stock control, sales ledger, payroll and month end tasks.
Responsibilities
Reconciling supplier accounts and balance sheet reconciliation.
Process Invoices and expenses into Sage 50 Cloud via AutoEntry.
Bank reconciliations.
Generate suggested payment runs and prioritise proforma payments.
Checking invoices to PO's prior to payment.
Tracking material orders and receipts as part of stock control.
Pay weekly and monthly wages.
Holiday cover for sales ledger and payroll.
You
AAT or currently working towards.
Experience of Sage 50 Accounts is preferred but not essential.
Experience of working in a small team.
Previous experience of reconciliation work and problem solving.
Must be competent with Microsoft Excel.
