**Field Service Engineer (Multi Skilled)

  • Oxford Area**
    Full time/ Permanent


Our client is a market leader and global brand who specialise in providing cargo handling solutions and services to ports, terminals, distribution centres and heavy industry.

They are currently experiencing a huge phase of growth and are now looking fora Maintenance Engineer to be based in or around the Oxford area.

The role will involve travel and we are looking for an engineer who is flexible getting to clients sites.
A company van will be provided and when the role involves nights away this will becovered by the company.

As Maintenance Engineer you will deliver a consistently high quality and a best in class service which is driven by an understanding of customers' needs and expectations.


Field Service Engineer (Multi Skilled) - Responsibilities

  • Undertakes servicing of company and 3rd party equipment at customer sites
  • Complete all service, repair, warranty and inspection jobs allocated daily, to a highquality standard
  • Build strong rapport and relationships with customers, through professional behaviour and customer focused mindset
  • Respond to routine enquiries from customers about the technical aspects of the organization's products and services
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems that arise, ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Develop skills and knowledge of the organisation's products and service
  • Comply with all Legal and company standards, such as code of conduct and H&S practices

Field Service Engineer (Multi Skilled) - Key Skills

  • Multi Skilled Engineer or technician ideally with some multisite experience
  • Proven background with Electrical, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic and experience in dealing with PLC.
  • Experience of heavy or agriculural plant equipment, fault finding and servicing experience.
  • Customer focus approach, able to be flexible, bring strong problemsolving skills and have exceptional time management and organisational skills.
  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualifications preferred although not essential.
