About the role
We are looking for a Technical Services Consultant with a strong technical background and excellent customer service.


Working alongside the wider Technical Services and Pre-Sales team, you will work towards delivering technical solutions to a wide range of customers.

You will be working with a range of technologies, including Microsoft Azure, InTune, Microsoft 365, VMWare as well as deployment and migrations.


What you will be doing

  • Planning, implementing and migrating of infrastructures and supporting systems.
  • Architecting solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Maintaining awareness of new and emerging technologies relevant to the role.
  • Communicating with project managers and customers to ensure they are kept abreast of project delivery.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
  • Visiting customer sites to complete projects as required.
  • Configuration and installation of hardware on customer sites or data centres.
  • Support continual improvement by identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency and sharing your knowledge with other Technical Services team members.

You will suit the role if you have

  • Demonstrable knowledge or experience in Technical Support and/ or similar IT roles.
  • Experience working with IT infrastructure including Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, InTune, Azure, VMWare ESXI/ vCentre, remote desktop and virtual desktop.
  • A full and valid UK Driving License.
  • An excellent standard of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Due to the nature of the role, you may on occasion be expected to travel throughout the UK with overnight stays.

Salary
Starting salary, £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus a company car or car allowance.

Location and Working Arrangements
You will be based at Aspire's Gateshead Head Office.

We offer hybrid working where possible to support work-life balance.


Hours of Work
Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
