Overview:
Iceland is one of PepsiCo's biggest UK customers, performing strongly within CSN the past 18 months.

They intend to continue this momentum by delivering both great value for their shoppers and continuing their expansion omni-channel through their, Main Estate, Food Warehouse and Online presence.


We're looking for somebody who is keen to develop their commercial ability, hard working and willingness to learn are key behaviour traits - while current processes are established, this role will allow for creative thinking, and we'll be looking for the AE to make some recommendations on how we can do operate more effectively.


The role will expose you to all functions across the business including close contact with finance, supply chain, marketing, category management etc all while being an integral part of the Discounter Channel; a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in sales.


Responsibilities:


  • You will use data to analyse trends and use this data to inform the team of any opportunities and risks when they arise.
  • You will be responsible for weekly EPOS performance reporting with analysis issued to the team.
  • You will be responsible for owning the relationship externally for our Online Plans (RMI) as well as managing our TRDU Plan with the shopper team to ensure strong 360 execution across Iceland's channels.
  • You will be responsible for all forecasting on Iceland, working closely with our Collaboration Manager to ensure forecast accuracy.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring all NLFs get completed on time and then setup with customers.
  • You will be responsible for liaising with the customer contacts to submit our periodic promotional nomination forms.
  • You will also work closely with our finance colleagues to ensure price file maintenance, managing the accurate invoicing and period close actualisation process.
  • You will be responsible for the smooth running of sales events such as twiceyearly Brand Plans as well as planning key external meetings with Iceland, such as Monthly/Quarterly JBP review sessions.

  • Drive for results successful record of delivering results and continually demonstrating a sense of urgency; knows the numbers cold; recognises the need for balanced growth.
  • Influencing both internally and externally, with an ability to flex personal style.
  • Analytical ability to identify trends and insight in data.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • An ability to build strong internal relationships across difference functions; marketing, finance, supply, category.
  • Collaborating & influencing (internally & externally) track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships, formal and informal networks (internally & externally), and communicate persuasively at all levels.
  • You'll have strong communication skills to engage with a wide range of customers and internal partners/ stakeholders.
