IKM Consulting Ltd is currently looking for a
Land Surveyor to join our growing team.

Position Requirements and Responsibilities

The role will involve working within an experienced survey team, on a variety of sites throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK, utilising RTK GNSS, Total Stations & Laser Scanning equipment.

Due to the nature of the work, a flexible approach to working hours is essential, as is a willingness to stay away when necessary.

Duties will include:

Topographic Surveys
River Sections & Bathymetric Surveys
Measured Building Surveys
Static & Mobile Laser Scanning
GNSS PPK Post-Processing
Processing Survey data and issuing drawings/reports
Liaising with clients
Identifying and mitigating potential QHSE risks
3 years land surveying experience minimum, with demonstrable surveying/data processing experience across a range of survey disciplines
Good problem solving, selfmanagement and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently to tight deadlines
A full UK Driving Licence
A good knowledge of the latest survey technology including: Robotic Total Stations & GPS Receivers (Trimble/Leica), AutoCAD experience, LSS (preferred but not essential)

Qualifications and Experience

A survey related qualification to HND/Degree level is essential
Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience

The ability to demonstrate drive and enthusiasm
Conscientious, focussed, team player
Adaptable to changing demands
Support less experience staff
