SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Mechanic
for
heavylift and transport projects:
Competitive salary, depending on experience (with shift allowance):
Working at our site in Thornaby with call-out travel required
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Ensuring the condition of equipment is in line with the applicable standards and instructions
- Performing allround maintenance and repair services
- Carrying out work to a high quality, including inspection, prevention, renovation and modification
- Completing newbuild projects when required
- Working on different types of mechanical (auxiliary) equipment related to diverse power transmission systems
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Professional level experience in maintenance operations, driver and control, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems. Basic level experience in rigging operations and equipment
- English, basic proficiency verbal and written
- Safety training and certification to Mammoet standards
- Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
- Three years of relevant work experience
- Secondary education in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
