Due to business growth are seeking to recruit an experienced accounts professional with a thorough knowledge of Xero accounting software.

Ideally with a relevant professional qualification or part-qualification.
Experience in the construction industry would be an advantage and join a dynamic and successful company. Must be a car owner driver due to the location of the office based in Maidenhead/Windsor Berkshire

"Utilise your Xero Accounting Knowledge "

*To Lead the Accounts - Must have experience of Xero Accounting Software

*Maintain Sales Ledger and credit control and oversee purchase Ledger

*Cash books bank reconciliation and cash flow forecasting

*Maintain the general ledger profit & Loss and balance sheet

*Prepare management accounts for the Directors

*Prepare journals pre-payments and accruals

*Prepare and maintain payroll including SSP SMP Pensions etc

*Manage CIS returns

*Quarterly VAT

  • Must have experience in the use of Microsoft products
  • Outlook Word Excel and Teams
*The ability to plan prioritise and organise workload

*Ideally with a professional qualification or part qualification in accounting

*Thorough knowledge of effective accounting systems processes and best practice

*Previous experience preparing accounts with Xero and working knowledge of CIS would be advantageous

  • A full time role in the office


  • Working Monday

  • Friday 40 hours per week (but can be flexible on hours )
