- Providing engineering input to manage the mechanical integrity of our fixed equipment assets
- Ensuring compliance to legislation, such as pressure systems safety regulations, through our written schemes of examination
- Acting as a Technical Advisor to our business teams, providing assistance with risk-based decision making, management of change, and owners engineering
- Assessing equipment condition in the field and defining repair scopes to fixed equipment
- Developing worklists for events/turnarounds and supporting work scope creation to ensure safe, reliable operation
- Mentoring other engineers, with the aim of developing both our knowledge and people
- Hold an engineering degree in materials or mechanical engineering, or an equivalent subject.
- Be; be working towards being or be prepared to work towards being, a Chartered Engineer, as defined by the Engineering Council or equivalent. (This is supported by our IMechE accredited MPDS scheme)
- Candidates experienced with pressure systems are preferred but not essential. We would welcome applications from individuals who have experience in other related industries such as pipelines and power.
- Successful candidates should possess a broad range of personal effectiveness and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate and influence business decisions in a team environment.
