Grade UE07 - £39,347 - £46, 974 per annum

College of Science and Engineering - School of Postdoctoral Research Associate in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.

Full time - 35 hours per week
**Fixed term - 12 months

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Must hold a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry or will submit PhD thesis before commencement of post.
  • Good publication record.
  • Experience in developing new synthetic methodologies, in particular, radical decarboxylation reactions and C-H dunctionalisations of pharmaceutical compounds.
  • Experience in reaction optimisation and synthetic route development on a wide range of scales (milligrams to decagrams). Experience with developing lightmediated reactions with various commercial photoreactors.
