It's a great time to become part of EPUT as we work on treatment pathways, new processes, and therapy options to meet the needs of our clients with a diagnosis or traits of personality disorder.

  • Family Therapist Role: Will be supporting clients in the vulnerable transition from ward to home, a critical time for families with heightened risks involved.
  • Engagement: Start with clients and families while the client is in the ward and continue support post-discharge.
  • Collaborative Approach: Working across inpatient, crisis, and community teams within localities, ensuring a seamless whole systems approach.
  • Clinical Oversight: Roles supervised by Consultant Psychotherapist and leading Family Therapist in the Personality Disorder and Complex Needs team.
  • Operational Alignment: Work closely with the Transitions Psychology team for evidence-based interventions and trauma-informed approaches.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have completed a full training in systemic family therapy or have a doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology and a recognised postgraduate diploma in family
