Night Laundry Assistant

PGL takes great pride in creating a great first impression for our young guests and colleagues, and with children's activity centres across the UK, we've put together a dedicated housekeeping team to help make PGL a place where people love to work and stay.

PGL are currently recruiting a Night Laundry Assistant to maintain the high level of customer service we provide for our guests.

As a Night Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that laundry is completed efficiently, in a safe and clean working environment, whilst also supporting the Housekeeping Department when required.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring that the washing of laundry is completed on a continuous cycle;

Correctly using and storing chemicals, following Health & Safety and Manual Handling training provided;
Carrying out stock takes of linen and informing line managers immediately of any shortages;
Providing a high level of customer service, by maintaining both high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, alongside a professional manner;

What we are looking for

This is an overnight role where we can be flexible on timings, with shifts starting between 8pm and 11am through to 4am to 6am.

Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential.
