Description

Be the site lead for Inventory Control, Stock Accuracy and Financial Integrity from the manufacturing functions and audit 3PL facilities to ensure the highest standards of compliance and performance.

Influencing teams to take accountability and to deliver improvements to performance, whilst investigating anomalies and implementing 100 year fixes.

  • Ensuring physical and systematic stock accuracy by performing stock location audits.
  • Ensuring that Cycle counts of all inventories are performed on a regular and timely basis.
  • Take ownership of internal warehouse activities, monitoring open Transfer orders, negative stocks & ageing open inbounds and outbounds.
  • Reporting audit results to finance and operations management.
  • Supporting different departments across the business investigating and understanding discrepancies.
  • Own and manage weekly inventory reports with key performance indicators: inventory ownership, accuracy, value, batches, turnover velocity and volume.
  • Identify and implement process improvements such as visual management to improve accuracy of the stock recording in SAP.
  • Conduct monthly audits of intercompany and 3PL stocks and report findings and corrective actions.
  • Ensure readiness of external audits
  • Create own KPI's how to improve stock performance.
  • Take ownership of IDoc management console correcting stock discrepancies between both intercompany & 3PL systems
  • Effective communication and coordination with the inventory owners: multiple business stakeholders across the organisation.

Experience & Expertise

  • Previous experience in an inventory control role
  • Preferred experience with SAP WM

Competencies

  • Computer competency with heavy focus on Excel & SAP. Ability to work with large data extracts in Excel, including the use of pivot tables and lookup functions
  • Excellent communicator with strong influencing skills.
