Job Overview
We are searching for enthusiastic CBT Therapists/Clinical or Counselling Psychologists to offer therapy to clients referred to the NHS Talking Therapies Barking & Dagenham team, a primary care service working within the framework of an IAPT service model.
We are a dynamic and empowering team, and as such, the post holder will collaborate with Senior Practitioners, HI Intensity Therapists, Counsellors, PWPs, Employment Advisors, and other professionals in the team.
The post holder will also operate autonomously, providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to clients with complex anxiety disorders and depression. A good knowledge of disorder-specific CBT interventions is essential. In addition to individual therapy, group treatment, telephone, and face-to-face assessments will be required. Flexibility in working hours is crucial due to the service's business hours (8 am-8 pm) and the necessity to work a minimum of one evening per week.
A team approach is encouraged, and commitment to the team's shared values and ethos must be demonstrated through regular attendance of team meetings, supervision, and adherence to local policies and procedures.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT prioritizes welcoming and inducting new starters properly into the Trust. New starters will undergo a comprehensive induction on the first Monday of each month, including mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation. High Cost Area Supplement – London
This role attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary, a minimum of £4,313 and a maximum of £5,436 annually.
