A little bit about what we are looking for...


Within this role, you will provide a key role in consulting, liaising and supporting our customers, alongside our service providers for all damp, mould and disrepair works carried out through our Asset team in and around our customers' homes.

You will be a main contact for residents throughout the inspection, treatment, and repair stages.


We are happy to offer hybrid working with this role; You will be required to be in the office for around 2/3 days per week with the rest being from home, however please bear in mind we may need you to be in the office more within your probation and training.

It's important to us that you feel fully ready and confident in the role before working from home. Of course if you'd prefer to be in the office more, then that is completely fine with us too


Your responsibilities...

  • Provide a key role in communicating and supporting our customers, alongside our service providers for all damp, mould and disrepair works carried out through our Asset team in and around our customers' homes
  • This role will be out of the office the majority of the time, in our resident's homes actively engaging with residents regarding the necessary damp, mould and disrepair works
  • You will remain the main contact person for residents throughout the inspection, treatment, and repair stages
  • You will regularly update residents on progress, consult with them regarding work being carried out to their homes and support them through the process through to completion
  • You will assist with monitoring the effectiveness of works carried out in resolving issues of damp and mould
  • You will flag residents' needs / special requirements regarding the works e.g., mobility restrictions
  • You will work closely with our contractors to establish a consistent service across our different contracts and provide the necessary help, support and guidance as required
  • Support our service providers to provide excellent customer services throughout the planned and majors works process
  • Assist the Asset team to ensure contractors carry out all areas of service delivery in accordance with PA's Policies and Procedures
  • Attend and participate in contractor progress meetings
  • Conduct regular site visits as required to ensure resident's needs are met and follow up issues with the contractor and relevant colleagues where appropriate
  • Raise any site matters including issues of Health and Safety, poor or defective workmanship or any other issues which need escalating
  • Keep staff up to date with progress on site and liaise with them where access issues arise
  • Liaise with the Housing team to advise of any tenancy related issues or concerns

  • A minimum of two years' experience working within a maintenance department within an RSL or private sector customer facing organisation
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to work within project time constraints
  • Knowledge of Keystone Asset Management system
  • Knowledge of managing contractors and suppliers
  • Experience working in the construction industry or repairs
  • Used to complaint resolution and experience of complaint management systems
  • Experience working in a customer service role or similar
  • Experience working with local community groups and external support agencies
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Word, Outlook and excel
