The Company

Our client is a major engineering group and is heavily investing in the creation of a centre of excellence in the manufacture of polymers and composites on a major manufacturing site in Gloucester.

The business is well established with nearly 100 years of historyand has many specialised manufacturing capabilities housed on this one site.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business as a production planner.

This is a key role, and you will be responsible for defining the Master Production Schedule, the date-to-day scheduling of operations and a key stakeholder in thecoordination of the resources and materials required to maintain production objectives.

The Profile

Conversant with MRP / ERP systems
Compile manufacturing order packs and release to the production areas
Monitor execution of production schedules new line Implement material management policies
Support the operations by providing updates
To continually improve using a plan of PLAN, DO, CHECK, ACT approach
Excellent communication skills
Detail orientated
Proactive approach to work
Fully conversant in Ms office
