Are you an experienced Electronic Production Engineer?

Do you have a degree in Electronics or a closely related field?

Can you demonstrate three years' experience in similar roles preferably in the manufacture of sensors or industrial electronic products.?


JOB OVERVIEW:

The role requires providing technical support for the in-house manufacture & certification of Electronic products.

You will be actively involved in the day to day manufacture of our products supporting a small team to ensure technical compliance and productionschedules are met.

Additionally responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant UK and European legislation such as UKCA, ATEX, REACH, RoHs and product specific requirements such as Functional safety (IEC61508 SC2).


  • Ensure IOM's, supporting documentation & certification are always correct & current.
  • Generate documentation to ensure compliance with ATEX.
  • Provide technical support to internal/external sales, production and customers
  • When required provide handson help with manufacturing of Level transmitters.
  • Work with notified bodies & attend audits with QA dept. to ensure the continuing compliance of certified products and liaise with auditors during approval audits.
  • Identify & help implement opportunities for improvements for production of products manufactured at Sevenoaks whether new or existing & reduce costs where possible.
  • Provide 'inhouse' training for fellow employees on manufactured products.
  • Ensure correct and latest standards for manufacture of certified products are being adhered to.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's health and policy at all times.
  • For suppliers of electrical components provide technical support to the QA department for audits (occasional travel may be required).
  • Liaise with the QA department for customer complaint investigation of manufactured electrical/electronic products, produce related reports, and propose corrective actions.
